Hey you guys! Here's a poem I wrote for no real good reason.
Enjoy it and PLEEZ! No bad comments.
I sit here on my couch, listening to music. Outside the pond gurgles. The sound is lazy, sweet, lulling even. Near the edge of the slippery green pond, a Green Heron leans to the right and rests to one foot. Its eyes close. Though it's faces' expression is blank, the feel of deep contentedness rests in the air. Patrick(whether a girl or boy(id don't know for sure) slithers down to the rock at the waters edge, then is still. His tongue tastes the air, in that two-forked way it does. It slithers down and twines itself around the yellow feet of the heron, still asleep unaware of the small water snake entangling its' feet. The heron leans forward, WHOOPS! A bit to far. The indignant bird shrieks as it finds that his feet are"tied"
together.
He stomps out of the pond with it's cute yellow feet and flies away into the distance shrieking all the way.
